Energy saving

Thermal Insulation

Windows and doors are in all buildings strategic points for heat insulation. In older homes about 25% of heat loss is usually avoidable with windows. Therefore, also in this specific case, thanks to targeted interventions, it is possible to achieve considerable energy saving. The excellent resistance to rain and wind are basic factors for a window. This means eliminate drafts, water infiltration and all that makes it less liveable the areas near the windows. Our doors are made according to modern concepts of sealing (junction of corners by thermal welding, double or triple rubber gasket). The frames Ser Edil meet the legal requirements on heat insulation both for new buildings and in reconstructions. Thanks to modern technology of multi-chamber windows ensure from the outset the conservation of heat in your home. The large surfaces also allow you to make better use of daylight and the sun heat. So you will live in a natural climate within the domestic walls, saving valuable energy.

No maintenance

The rain, the wind and the sun heat do not affect our windows which remain unchanged for many years, thanks to the careful machining and assembly. The aluminium can also resist the severe weather conditions in time - it can be white or coloured, and there is no need of periodic repainting. Smooth and extra-strong surfaces are hygienic and easy to care: just wipe the windows with a soft cloth and a household cleaner to keep them long beautiful and efficient.

Windows and 65% tax deduction for energy saving

In order to access the tax deduction for energy saving in case of replacement of windows, you need an existing building which is already equipped with heating system. Unlike the deduction for building renovations that only applies to homes, the energy saving deduction can be used for buildings of any cadastral category (homes, offices, shops, productive activities, etc.).
The new windows have to meet certain requirements. First, they must define the perimeter of the heated volume. Basements, garages or rooms where there is no heating are therefore not involved to deduct the cost of the windows. Secondly, the new windows must be certified and have accurate transmittance values, for example they must be sufficiently insulated. The transmittance values are tabulated and were defined by the Decree of the Minister of Economic Development of 11th March 2008 and subsequently modified by the Decree on January 6th, 2010. This deduction also involves windows fittings that affect the dispersion of heat, such as blinds and shutters, or are structurally united to the window frame, such as roller blind. The upper limit for the tax deduction for energy efficiency in case of replacement of windows is 60,000 euro.

Windows and 50% tax deduction for building renovation

If your situation does not meet the requirements of the tax deduction for energy savings, it is possible to assess whether there are requirements for the deduction on building renovations.
In this case it is always necessary, as for the 65% tax deduction, that the work is carried out on an existing building. It is important to note, however, that are allowed for tax deduction for building renovations only works on houses or common parts of residential buildings. The presence or absence of heating is irrelevant for this type of deduction.
The requirements for windows are less restrictive than the 65% deduction law. They are also different depending on whether the windows are replaced on individual units or on parts of condominium. For the replacement of windows on the individual units it is necessary that the new elements have different shape, materials and colours. In the event that these features do not occur, it can be assessed whether the new windows make any change for energy savings. For example, this happens when the old windows have single glass and the new ones have double glass.
The tax deduction for building renovations also includes works aimed at saving energy that maybe can not be included in the 65% tax deduction. Unlike the 65% tax deduction, where there are higher requirements to the standards of the law, 50% tax deduction only requires such standards.
The above requirements are not needed when replacing windows on parts of condominium. In this case the deduction is possible even when you install windows with the same features as the existing ones. To apply for 50% tax deduction the communication through the website Enea is not necessary - it is sufficient to provide the invoices and receipts of the special transfers during the tax return.
